It’s finally here! After almost two months of hard work, I present to you: Breakless my René-Pier Deshaies / Fari RPGs
Breathless adventure.Crafted especially during the Breathless Jam 2.
What is worse than being stuck in the middle of a zombie outbreak? Well, maybe being a prisoner during that very zombie outbreak, trapped in the belly of the penitentiary system.How will you escape that prison?
This 30 pages adventure makes players start as prisoners, locked in their cells, waiting for the end of their sentence.
How fun is that?
Well, maybe we can add some zombies to spice things up! 🧟
What to expect:
A 16 rooms prison, for each:
A short description
What do you hear?
What do you smell?
GM hints to help you understand the prison’s mechanics
A full Prison Map
3 different exits to leave that prison, or die trying!
D6 Starting Items for your characters
D6 Why Are You In Jail? Learn about your past, and the crime you committed
D6 Complication, to spark your stressful moment
2-hour timetable, with events every 15 minutes
4 differents zombie archetypes to give you some idea if you want to spice up the game
D10 Loot table and a special loot table for some specific rooms

As you can read in the previous section of this newsletter, I finally finished my Breathless adventure. I’m very happy with it, even though it probably deserves some polish and a better layout (I’m a beginner with layout stuff).
That’s my very first adventure ever released and I hope you’ll find it fun!
I would have loved to make it solo friendly but it would be hard to make it in the original time set for the Jam, it was supposed to end earlier in June.
Also, I’m not very proud of the cover artwork, it looks better in Affinity Photo, but the export messed up the noise (the original is extremely noisy), but, same for the layout, I’m still new to digital collage stuff.
Otherwise, it was very fun to make! 😀
This Saturday night, I’ll be playing a live show with my Surf Rock band “Les Buses” for a private festival with friends!
I’m used to playing in this lil’ fest, but it’s always a blast!
Picture this: people riding BMX bikes on huge dirt bumps, making crazy moves and insane tricks, a huge fire is roaring in the back and bands are playing rock music as a soundtrack for the moment. 🔥
